What do you want to be different? Powerful questions provide clarity. Feeling stuck in self-doubt or thinking ‘too negatively’ about a situation? Instead of focusing on the past (what you can’t change) think about your desired future. Make a list of the things that you want to be different, consider which of those things are in your power or the top 2-3 things that seem actionable to achieve it. #coach #careercoach #jobsearch #leadership #careerpq #powerfulquestions

How clearly does your manager understand your thoughts on this? Powerful Questions challenge assumptions. Not wanting to look unprepared. Fear of failure. Assuming that ‘she should know.’ She’s busy. There are many reasons for a disconnect between managers and their team members, but I often find that clients have not clearly defined their needs and/or challenges to their managers. ... Don’t assume that your manager knows what you’re thinking.
