Chetco River Report The Chetco river fished well last weekend. The river had a lot of traffic on it by Monday. The main technique used on the Chetco is side drifting, followed by plugs. There were quite a few fly anglers around. You will see a whole bunch of soft beads used from 10mm-20mm depending on flows. When it rains, the Chetco rises. The best flows to fish the Chetco are from 1200CFS-5000 CFS with 4000CFS and dropping as prime.
