In an effort to protect your pet's best interests Clayton Valley Pet Hospital does not approve prescription medication or food requests from outside or online pharmacies. To better assist you our hospital policy allows for these refill options, with 24-48 hour turn around: - We can fill multiple months at a time of your pet's medication or prescription food here in hospital for you to pick up - You can order the product through our online pharmacy that integrates with our hos...pital's software for faster approvals and the convenience of receiving your items straight to your door - If your pet is on a prescription diet through Hills or Purina we can help register you to receive the same diets straight to your home without any shipping fees by purchasing directly from the manufacturer - We can issue a hand written prescription for 1-month of medication that can be provided to any pharmacy of your choosing. *Please note, each pharmacy will have their own policies as to how they process written prescriptions and we trust you will make sure to check with the pharmacy you plan on using in advance so there won’t be any lapse in medications.* We’d also like to take this moment to share an ugly truth about online pharmacies: they do not purchase their medications through the manufacturer who made them they are often purchased from third parties who have no guarantee on how they have been stored or where they came from. When you purchase your pet’s medications from a veterinary hospital, they are 100% guaranteed authentic by the manufacturer, and they will often times help you out financially should your pet have an adverse reaction to the medications. You can learn more about the cautions associated with internet pharmacies here: http://www.pethealthnetwork.com//buyer-beware-risks-orderi If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Clayton Valley Pet Hospital and let us know.

Hello everyone. We really wanted to have our yearly Xmas party. We thought that if we practiced social distancing we could still have our furry friends take pictures with Santa. Because COVID is gaining ground again, we have decided to move our party to Easter. We’ve had Halloween parties in the past, then moved it to Xmas. Time for change. Maybe we can get the Easter Bunny to attend. Hopefully by then we will be on safer grounds.

Bunny in need of home! His name is Yoda and he is 3 months old, not neutered. He is a little shy but willing to let people hold him. He gets along with chickens and isn't afraid of dogs as far as we know. If you are interested send a message or contact the office during business hours.

Dear clients. Veterinary hospitals are excluded from the lockdown. We will be open but with shorter hours. If you are healthy you are welcome to come in and bring our patients to be seen. We will exercise caution and maintain our hospital clean throughout the day. If you rather remain inside your car we will come outside and bring our patient in. Please respect other clients space. We can get over this crisis without disregarding our patient’s needs. Be safe, Dr Aparicio
