Reading is everything! We have a few rules about reading to help keep your child interested: (1) Ditch the Book! - There are enough opportunities in school where children will have to participate in assigned reading or where they will have to take a test on what they are reading. Therefore, if your child realizes he/she isn’t interested in a book that he/she has chosen, then encourage them to switch it without any guilt! (2) Too Easy? - G...raphic novels or easy books are still considered appropriate reading material. Of course, expose your child to a variety of genres, but these less serious books will still help develop much-needed reading skills. (3) Model for Your Child - Make sure you are reading books of your choice in front of your child. They will learn to do the same. See more

However, if you need any additional academic support for your child(ren), then please check back this week where we announce 1:1, workshop, homeschool, and cohort options for the coming school year! 1:1 will be in-person to students and staff who feel comfortable with this option, so long as it is considered safe (and very strict safety guidelines will be implemented) -or-online. Any setting with more than one student will be ...online only. We are working hard to put together a variety of options and packages, which are in response to the announcement made by Gov. Newsom last Friday, regarding the opening of schools. We want to help provide additional options to parents and help you properly plan!
