Grovers! We are nearing the end of the year and with that means we are closing in on that annual special community event we all love so much. LEMON GROVE’S ANNUAL BONFIRE! This year we will be celebrating together but separate with a Drive-thru event. Come out and enjoy lights, goody bags, special characters and a memorable photo opportunity. We hope to see you all there!

Hi Grovers! Just a friendly reminder that our Lemon Grove Food Distribution event has recently updated their schedule. Starting November 7th we will be operating every other Saturday. That means that the Food Distribution will not be taking place this Saturday, October 31st but will resume November 7th. We hope everyone enjoys their Halloween weekend, stay safe.

The City of Lemon Grove and EDCO Disposal are holding the 2020 Bulk-Item & E-Waste/Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, October 24th from 7am - 2pm. Residents can dispose of furniture, appliances, e-waste, or recycle beverage containers, or have paper shredded. Hey Grovers! Check out the new shiny logo added to the Lemon Grove Sheriff’s patrol vehicles! Now they are really riding in style.

MTS has introduced a new fare violation diversion program. Beginning Sept. 1st, fare violators will be able to avoid high court fines by paying just $25 directly to MTS or doing community service. For more information on how to pay or appeal your citation, visit www.sdmts.com/diversion-program . . . MTS inició un nuevo programa de desvío de infracciones de pasaje.
