AYAs require many levels of interventions and depend on a complex network of systems, programs, and people to navigate survivorship after treatment. Overcoming barriers to transition from pediatric to adult focused survivorship care is critical for this population. Nathan Kamel is conducting a study in which he hopes to speak with AYA cancer survivors (15-21 years old at time of cancer diagnosis), family members/guardian, care providers, researchers and administrators to understand the barriers that exist when transitioning from pediatric to adult focused survivorship care. If you or anyone you know are interested in participating, please contact him at [email protected] or scan the QR Code to get connected with the study.
