With the holiday season upon us and the annual Davis Children’s Nutcracker canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Davis will be hosting several activities to honor this classic local tradition. Starting December 7, 2020 and continuing throughout the month, the City of Davis will be Celebrating the Spirit of Nutcracker. Families and fans will be able to participate in a variety of activities from the comfort of their homes as we celebrate what would have been the 44th annual production. Face coverings are an important way to slow the spread of COVID-19. Free boxes of non-surgical disposable masks will be distributed on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Davis Police Department (2600 Fifth St.). All Davis residents and businesses are encouraged to stop by.
