CHPD was recently awarded a state grant for the "Stop Tobacco Access to Kids Enforcement" program with a mission to reduce teen use of cigarettes and vaping products. You might see Youth Services Officer Soriano driving the new grant-funded S.T.A.K.E. truck around town featuring "Nix" the Nicotine Reaper. Stop the Smoke and Escape the Vape! Talk to your children about making smart choices for their health.

In 2021, the YFS Team is focused on children's safety while on the roadway. Does your child need a bike helmet? We have you covered! YFS may be able to provide one, along with safety tips. Contact [email protected]!

Our Youth Services Officers were out at Walmart today shopping for our community's children. Walmart is a generous sponsor of our Shop with a Cop program, benefiting many deserving children every year. Changing things up a little for the protection of the kids, they will get their gifts soon when the "Citrus Heights Polar Express" rolls into town to surprise them!
