The CircleUp team has been working hard to expand the anti-racism, conflict resolution, and restorative practices training, coaching, and consulting work that we are delivering to cities, schools, tech companies, and nonprofits throughout California and the US. An important and powerful Town Hall on Racism and Discrimination moderated by our very own co-founder, Tiffany Hoang for the City of Lafayette City Council Task Force to Effect Change and Action. Many cities and workplaces have been reaching out to us in light of Black Lives Matter. Some seeking training, others seeking support to hold space for meaningful and di...fficult conversations like these. Some are taking on policing, while others tackle mental health & homelessness, and others, systemic racism specifically. This town hall reminds us that no matter what the issue is that we're trying to change, that change MUST begin with listening so that we can truly understand the landscape, depth, and impact of the exact problems and systems we are trying to dismantle. To all the change agents out there (which is ALL of us) we salute you and we're with you!
