Woohoo Buckles! Thank you Tony’s Landscaping!!
Here is another district running a show this weekend on Sunday
If you are chasing times - this is the last weekend of the current CGA Season.
Northern Update - see below
Reminder: if you are willing to manage the August 1 play date we do need to know by tomorrow otherwise the event will be canceled or postponed.
Calling all Circle D Members: the usual suspects that would typically manage the play day event are unavailable August 1st. Before we discussed postponing or canceling we wanted to reach out to our membership and see if there was anyone that would be interested in managing this event. That would mean preparing for the event, ensuring the ground is ready scheduling the days events and workers etc. If you are interested in being the play day manager please let us know by Sunday, July 19. Several of us will be at the clubhouse this weekend for a Saturday and Sunday gymkhana so if you have questions that would be a good time to ask.
Social distancing will still be in affect at this weekends shows. That means the clubhouse will be closed with the exception of bathroom use. We will have no food or beverages for sale so plan ahead and bring your snacks and water. Awards will be held outside in the shade and we ask that you avoid congregating in the bleachers in large groups. It’s predicted to be very warm so please plan accordingly!
Tonight is the night
Our first membership meeting in quite some time is finally happening next Wednesday July 8th at 7:00 pm at Circle D (5250 Griffin Road). The meeting will be held outside to promote social distancing and avoid having to require masks so please make sure you bring your lawn chair and join us. Over the past year or so attendance at our membership meetings and work days have seen a decline. I would like to encourage everyone to get involved and pitch in so we can continue to offer the same membership benefits and low membership cost. Membership meetings are held every other month on the second Wednesday at 7 PM. It is the best way to stay involved and informed and get to know your fellow club members. Thanks and hope to see everyone next Wednesday evening!
Thanks for the photos Barb!
