Since the DMV isn’t giving Behind the Wheel drive tests at this time, we also, cannot give lessons. However, I have a waiting list, so if you’re ready to take lessons, text me and get your name on that list! 805-260-1922. I will contact you when the non-essential business ban is lifted. In the meantime, if you haven’t studied for your permit test, (or completed Driver’s Ed, teens), my website has a link for Driver’s Ed.
This is a good time to do what you’ve always wanted to do! Bring out that teaching gift you have and get trained to teach driving lessons! Cindys Driving School will be needing instructors for the deluge of lessons when the ban is lifted. Plus summer is the busiest season. And you can continue forever after if it’s a good fit. If you love kids and want to give them highest quality instruction, and make a decent wage for a part-time job message me!
Making a change to: Cindy’s Driving School is still open for teaching lessons!... Because I will take a break until after March 31st, especially for 2nd and 3rd lessons, because the DMV is not doing their drive tests for a few more weeks.
Some stocking stuffer suggestions! A gift card to Auto Zone, where they can buy a 3 spot mirror, a squeegee for the rear windshield, jumper cables, roadside flares, an elevating cushion, and other car care products. Or order a keychain online!
Congratulations to Micah McCracken for dodging the deer! First deer I’ve seen on Hwy 227 in 18 years. Micah is a confident driver on his second lesson, with at least 12 hours practice with his parents under his belt. He saw the deer coming down the side of the hill right by the road and saunter into the road. (This is an internet photo, not the actual deer!)
These large vehicles are parked in the neighborhood. We pulled up a full lane-change distance away and hid them both in the blind spot. The mirrors showed NOTHING. Lean into your side mirror to see the back car, look over your shoulder to see the front car. Try it out!
Do you remember this?
Cindy’s Driving School is looking for a new driving instructor trainee that loves extreme sports! Someone that has exceptional sensory awareness and quick responses. Not characterized by fear, which leads to harsh correction. Fun-loving, with exceptional communication skills. An excellent moral reputation is also required. There will be a livescan fingerprinting. Driving lessons are not dangerous to those with these skills. No DUI’s, over age 25 is a plus. Available to work after school and Saturdays is a must. Complete training is available. Email me and I will send you the DMV requirements for driving instructors. [email protected]
This was a first! I asked the student to park in a parking spot, and she backed right into this one! Great job Rafaela!
I taught three driving students in the rain today (daytime). First time students with no hesitation because of the weather! What could be more fun than teaching teenagers that are that ambitious to learn! One of them was a special needs student. He was quietly so excited I saw a bounce in his step when he walked up to his home after the lesson!
Zachary Venzor won the Christmas Trunk Gift drawing!
Merry Christmas to Zachary Venzor, whose name was drawn for receiving the new student gift!
