Message from KVCR: We would like to remind everybody to take the KVCR Channel 24 and KVCR 91.9 FM Radio survey. We need to show strong support for FNX, the Native American TV Channel, the only Native American television broadcasting service in the United States. The survey questions are worded in a tricky way, so please make sure that you give PBS, NPR, and FNX support over the idea of choosing only educational funding. We should not be asked to choose if we think that educa...tional expenses are more important than FNX, PBS, and NPR. When the San Bernardino Community College District sold KVCR’s bandwith a few years ago to make room for cellphone bandwith, they were paid $157 million. The Community College District was asked to reserve enough funding to run the station, but they chose to spend it in other ways. It is not KVCR’s fault that there isn’t as much funding as the district would like to have. The deadline for completing the survey is this Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. This is the link to take the survey. https://sbccdir.co1.qualtrics.com//form/SV_3W34wIjTBXJ6seO See more
