The last couple months have been really tough on small businesses. Now that we're starting to open up, wear your mask & SHOP LOCAL - SHARE LOCAL and BE LOCAL. What does that mean?... SHOP: When you have the opportunity, please SHOP local right here in Ventura. Shop the Mom and Pop stores, and if you have to shop at a one of the Big Box chain stores, shop the one located right here in Ventura. Shopping local means your money remains right here in Ventura, maybe even saving a family owned business. Shopping local means that Ventura will not only thrive it will lead the way toward success today and in the future. And we will be able to retain our own very unique by the coast Community. SHARE: When you purchase locally SHARE that information through-out your network, and ask that others share among their networks. You can do this by word of mouth with friends and family, or broadcasting and sharing on all the different social media platforms. Your sharing allows others to know that these businesses are open and ready for customers. Make a decision today that everyday you’re going to post something about a local business, whether it’s a place you’ve visited, your heard about, a place you would recommend, or maybe because of social distancing it’s a business you can’t wait to revisit once the restrictions are lifted it’s doesn’t matter just post about them, highlight them, brag about them. BE LOCAL: When you are BEING LOCAL: it shows how proud you are to be a part of an amazing and exciting Community we call Ventura. This kind of positive enthusiasm will entice others to find out what kind of great things are happening in our Community. Maybe they will return to a place of business they’ve been to before but haven’t in a while because of the restrictions, or better yet experience something new. Because then, they too will want to SHOP and SHARE and BE LOCAL about Ventura.
