Hey everyone, CVHS is helping out Rady Children's hospital this holiday season with the AJ's Kids Crane toy drive and I'd like to ask for YOUR help! I would like to open this up to everyone and ask that anyone interested to please make a donation! Please drop toys or monetary donations off at CVHS by Nov. 16th so we can deliver them on the 17th. Here are some general rules that they have: ... you may not donate any used toys due to the fact many kids at the hospital have compromised immune systems. No stuffed animals (due to infection control) No guns, or any violent themed games, or comic books No religious articles, books monetary donations are accepted. Any money goes straight to the "Aj's Kids Fund" to buy toys, equip play rooms and fund several programs at the hospital Need ideas on what to donate? Here are some ideas! New Released Movies (G, PG and PG 13) Board/card games (Uno/Monopoly/Jenga) Crayola Crayons/markers/paints $5 and $10 gift cards (iTunes, AMC, Target) Legos Toy cars Play-Doh Barbies and Superhero action figures Musical toys Books for parents to read to their babies (English and Spanish) such as Good Night Moon, Corduroy, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, etc.) infant toys such as rattles sensory toys that light up (not loud) Blankets We will be delivering the toys November 17th, on the last day of the toy drive. Please plan on attending, and being a part of this time-honored activity. 7:00 9:30am Alumni Tea Learning Lab (old library) 10:00 am Homecoming Assembly Gymnasium 11:30 am ASB ReceptionASB Office 4:30pm Gates open for the game 5:30 pm* Homecoming Parade Stadium 7:00 pm Football vs. Mar Vista High Stadium 8:30 pm Coronation, Fireworks Stadium *ALL Alumni are invited to participate in our decade-by-decade parade beginning at 5:30pm on the south end of the track. We will have the banners to sign at the alumni tea and will be paraded around the stadium before the game. Homecoming prices: $6- Ages 6-12; 60 & over, Students with school ID $8- Adults Ages 5 and under are free Unfortunately, ASB cards are not valid at this game.
