Thank you to Edison and Caltrans for their quick work in getting the lanes open safely. Westbound lanes of SR 62 are currently closed near Samel Road n Morongo Valley due to power lines hanging across the lanes from a crash that occurred late last night. Currently westbound traffic is using the eastbound #1 lane and eastbound traffic is using the eastbound #2 lane. Use extreme caution and allow extra time for travel.
