The CHP is gearing up to increase motorcycle safety awareness in California. A new federal grant will allow the CHP to increase motorcycle safety activities and... reduce the number of motorcycle-involved crashes and victims. The safety campaigns will promote the use of helmets for all riders and raise motorists’ awareness of sharing the road with motorcyclists. The campaigns will also focus on the most dangerous traffic violations, including speeding, improper turning, and driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. https://bit.ly/36JAglB

Why use only one layer of protection when two is better? Watch out for phishing scams. This goes beyond the recently deceased uncle from another country whose solicitor is desperately trying to get hold of us. Connect securely. We know, free wifi at the coffee shop is cool, but it’s risky. Take that cup of Joe to go and safely log on at home. Safe surfing, Your friends at CHP Madera
