Both are well accomplished members of the CHP and the leadership and knowledge they shared, helped the staff at the Altadena Area CHP office a valuable resource for the communities that we serve. Best wishes in retirement to both! Thank you for your dedication and service.

The Altadena Area CHP Office Has Four New Faces Captain Derek Moulton (center) proudly welcomed officers J. Alvares, J. Macias, S. Gonzalez, and R. Pope to the Altadena Area CHP family today. They have prepared to be officers, but more important to them is a commitment to a career in public service. We are pleased to have them join us and we wish them the best as they complete their field training. Welcome gentlemen!

Double "Doggie" Rescue It's not double vision. Altadena Area CHP units were recently dispatched to a report of dogs walking on I-5 (Golden State Freeway) in the Burbank area. Officer T. Ball, #22526 was the first unit to arrive and quickly spotted the two dogs walking near an off-ramp. Using gentle persuasion, she took them into "custody" (for safety) and they were safely handed over to the Burbank Humane Society to be re-united with their owner. Happy to be of service!
