Today I’m back to shooting daily again after a much-needed holiday with my little family and the time off let me reflect on how I’m so grateful with how busy you all are keeping me. At the beginning of the pandemic I was very unsure if my clients would still want to work with me with my Covid protocols in place (only shooting outdoors not in client homes, socially distant, wearing a mask that sometimes makes kids a little uneasy at first, only small families less than 10 peop...le, rescheduling shoots if anyone is showing any symptoms) - it felt like you guys wouldn’t want to bother and would choose not to shoot at all or to go with a photographer who is a little looser on their protocols but I WAS WRONG. I’ve never been so busy with family sessions in my decade of doing this I’m so glad I stuck to my guns (and still holding those protocols in place now of course) because not only was I able to keep myself and my family healthy but but I feel good that I did what I could to keep all of my clients safe as well while still delivering sessions that I’m so proud of This little peanut is turning ONE and her newborn session was one of the last in-home sessions that I did pre-pandemic #chloemoorephotography See more

Now that I’ve been doing this job for a decade it’s astonishing to see these kids grow up at what feels like super speed and a huge honor to be able to capture these families as they grow. Typically Thanksgiving is when my busy season slows down but I’ve still got about 30 of you adorable families to photograph before the end of this wild year so I’m not slowing down just yet!! THANK YOU thank you thank youuuuu for keeping me so busy, trusting me year after year to capture your growing families and supporting my small business!! It’s hard to explain how meaningful it is. This year is my TENTH year being in business and while it didn’t look quite like I’d expect it to I’m more grateful than ever for my clients and proud of the business I’ve built.
