During these times of increased difficulty for elective cases consider small procedures In the office setting. I highly recommend this approach however, don’t skip your usual steps; Do your blood work and choose the right type of case and of course your comfort, make sure you have an adequate room and create the necessary sterile field as well. Short 4th met second round. Although we got length the first time; the 4th toe was crowded by the 5th and 3rd. I waited almost 2 yrs to allow for remodeling and today we used Stryker X-Fix. It’s easy to use and they provide with a guideline on placing the pins.

We are as strong as our staff. We celebrated the best way in these different times 2 birthdays this week. I wish them both a wonderful year ahead and fulfillment in all they do!!!!

I know I said this before but, PLEASE DONT treat every complain of heel pain syndrome as plantar fasciitis. This young lady came to me after a year being treated by someone else for plantar fasciitis and I don’t need X-ray to know what’s wrong with you or MRI. She had orthotics and night splints and physicla therapy all the time her symptoms worsened. After I took x rays and highly suspicious of the impingement syndrome pt had a cortisone injection and guess what??? It got better.... long story we removed this large ossicle that was jamming posteriorly causing her secondary heel pain issues
