Mike and I wanted to reach out to you and make sure you know that you are on our minds in a positive way. We wish you the best and have high hopes for you in the future. As for Chileno Valley Ranch, we wish for normalcy in the fall, with open u-picks and lots of happy kids and grown-ups! We hope that apple and pear picking, kid tours, kibitzing and enjoying a ranch day will be possible. Of course, given all that has happened, we don’t know what will be safe either, sostay tu...ned! We will be sure to keep in touch. We do plan to have a spring pick up for ground beef, and perhaps olive oil, honey and cider donuts. This will be announced closer to the date. Thank you for a great business year of large beef orders, pick ups and drive-bys, of happy faces under masks, of respecting our need to keep safe as we have respected yours and for all the lovely little things; gifts, cards, safe visits and personal thank yous! Dear Friends of Chileno Valley Ranch: We are now moving on to the late ripening apples, Pink Lady and Goldrush. Both are beautiful, great eating apples and good keepers. Our next pick-up is on Sunday, November 1st and we hope to see you there.... Please add any relevant details in the notes section, such as the pick-up date. At our drive-thru, apples will be sold in 10 lb. bags for $20.00, with a minimum of 10 lbs. Grass fed ground beef will be sold for $8.00 per lb., with a minimum of 5 lbs. Picking Up Your Products A bulletin will be sent out a few days before the pick-up day detailing how to safely pick up your prepaid farm products. Chileno Valley Grass Fed Beef To purchase a quarter, half or whole animal, please see our see our website for further details - www.chilenovalley.com. The total costs for a quarter beef are around $550 and include more than 100 lbs of take-home packages of various cuts.
