While we miss celebrating with our community in our sunny solarium, the Raphael House team has continued to provide families with birthday presents and cakes so they can celebrate safely at home.... In addition to strengthening family bonds through shared celebration, these birthday party essentials allow families to prioritize other expenses like groceries and healthcare. These celebrations are made possible by our community partners like @ChildrenOfShelters (who provided a $4,000 grant to purchase birthday gifts to meet the demand since the start of the pandemic), @Cake4Kids, and everyone who donated through our Amazon wish lists! THANK YOU to our community for helping us continue this wonderful tradition!

Meet our Family Wellness Care Coordinator Bianca! In addition to offering families wellness support, coordinating birth plans for expecting mothers, and provid...ing therapy referrals, Bianca has prioritized keeping children in our shelter engaged during stay-at-home orders. Thanks to support from our donors and our community partner Children of Shelters, Bianca was able to recently provide children in our Residential Shelter with activity kits that help keep them entertained and foster creativity. While many of our in-person group activities remain postponed, Bianca has gone above and beyond to continue the exceptional care Raphael House is known for. We appreciate her continued dedication to Raphael House families!
