Please join us this Thursday evening @ 6:30pm at the Chico Peace and Justice Center, 526 Broadway, Chico. 95928 to help further our vision of growing flax and processing it to create fabrics and clothing locally. We have pulled the several patches of flax that we had growing around the Chico environs, and have started `rippling`, which is removing the seeds heads from the stalks. We have three public workshops coming up where we will be `rippling`, `winnowing the seeds from the chaff and starting to break and comb the fibers with some new hand tools. We will also discuss having a demo at the Saturday Farmer`s Market, preparing for an online fundraising effort, updating our Fiber Fusion web page and whatever else flax and dye plant related thing is on your minds. All are welcome!
