During the month of February the Chicano Research Center had three major donations. Unfortunately because of previous generous donations we now have many doubles and triplets, for the month of March we are going to share these gifts with our followers, in our overstock section where previously all books were priced at $5.00 we are now till the end of March offering these books for only $3.00, many of these new books are literature or novels. Join us in the afternoon and take advantage of this sale. Thank you Arlene Galindo, Tere Romo, and Gil Chavez. Richard Soto Founder Chicano Research Center

Good morning loyal followers, the Chicano Research Center recently acquired three major donations of books and artifacts, two from Sacramento and 1 from eStockton. We are still looking for filling in blanks in book collections that were done by Quinto Sol and others publishers. We are also looking for Raza magazines of the early 60's and 70's such as La Raza, Regeneracion, Con Safos and others. Archive the books and magazines that you are no longer using, help us create a ...living history of our struggle, the past, the present and the future. I have been invited to go to Fresno and pick up items from a 90 year old activist and old Mapista. If it is not written down or archived it did not happen and we don't exist. Many local individuals have already donated, join the movement and call me (209) 851-1928 or come down to the Center 2182 E. Main St. eStockton, Calif. We have some reallyeciting material. On Friday November 1st 2019 I had the opportunity to share with the staff of Riverbend Elementary School in Yuba City, Calif. The Principal and staff were extremely kind and supportive. I say extremely kind because in an effort to do something nice for a friend I was about 20 minutes late and did not do my best job. I met and spoke with several staff members on an individual basis during lunch and after and found that they were sincere and committed to their students. Staff at Riverbend keep up the good work.
