Chapman Law Mock Trial Competition Board

Last week Dominique Cavalier (3L), Michael Seaman (2L), Caroline Cordova (2L), & Kaitlin Robinson (2L) represented Chapman at the Lone Star Challenge in San Antonio, Texas! Special shoutout to Caroline, Michael, and Kaitlin for competing in their first mock trial competition!

Congratulations to Bradford Oduguwa, Eric Rasyidi, Amanda Fossati and Alex Rosas for taking Chapman Law to the final round of the Stetson University College of Law National Pretrial Competition for the first time ever! Not only did we place second in the competition, but also won "Best Movant Brief" overall. Thanks to coaches Jonathan Cayton (JD '14) and Jessica Roundy (JD '16) for helping with their success.

Last week Grant Voss (3L), Angela Clyde (3L), Austin Roberts (2L), & Chloe Loomer (2L) represented our team at the Mockingbird Challenge in Montgomery, Alabama! Special shoutout to Chloe and Austin for competing in their first Chapman Mock Trial competition!

On behalf of the Mock Trial Board, thank you to everyone who competed in today’s competition. Another big thank you to our faculty advisor, judges, jurors, and witnesses. There would be no competition without your support. Participating in a competition is, in itself, a great accomplishment. I hope you all are very proud of yourselves. I also hope this experience was valuable for you as you begin to prepare for your legal careers. This year we received overwhelming interest a...nd were extremely impressed by the quality of advocacy we witnessed.
