Channel Islands Medical Group is open and available for you and your family. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 we have made adjustments in how we serve you to continue keeping our staff, patients and their families safe. If you are concerned you may have COVID-19, please call our office. Do not show without calling first. Well care appointments will continue without change. However, patients will be scheduled to keep the number of patients in the office at any given time to a... minimum. The current recommendation is to keep babies and children up to date with immunizations and routine checkups to minimize exposure to illnesses. We are offering telemedicine visits for patients that we do not want to come out in the community and risk illness. These telemedicine visits are billed to your insurance like a regular office visit appointment. We understand the stress of these uncertain times and are here to support you the best we can.

To all our patients who are concerned and worried about the Covid-19 virus. Our office is open and seeing patients. We are here to answer any questions and concerns you may have. We are doing our best to keep patients that are well away from patients that may be ill. Public Health is currently restricting the use of the limited supply of the Covid-19 test kits to those who meet the cdc’s criteria. Although we would love to test everyone concerned, the test kits are still very limited. We are proud to introduce the addition of Lisa Spink to our practice. Lisa is a board certified nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with over 20 years of experience with inpatient and outpatient settings. Lisa comes to us with 19+ years NICU experience at Community Memorial Hospital and the last 5 years has worked as FNP. Lisa will be scheduling patients on Tuesdays to help accommodate your family with their healthcare needs.
