Effective July 1, 2013, the Department of Corporations (DOC) and the Department of Financial Institution (DFI) will merge to form the Department of Business Oversight (Department). The reorganization is part of Governor Brown's plan to increase the efficiency and cost effectiveness of state government.

Are the Independent Escrow Agents licensed? Yes, the Independent Escrow Agents are licensed by the Department of Corporations. Besides licensed, we are required to be bonded or insured to protect against loss of Escrow Trust Funds.

The second installment of your property taxes is due today (02/01/2013). It is delinquent if payment is NOT received on or postmarked by April 10, 2013.
