Anytime you’re on a big project, there can be confusion when it comes to on the ground responsibility as it relates to airlifts and helicopters. A great way to indicate who is responsible for what is to use different colored hard hats. People in the red hard hats are the people helicopter pilots know to whom direct their questions.
