Help SAMLARC keep wildlife wild! A beautiful Lake relies on a balanced ecosystem. Overpopulation of Canada Geese at the Lake can damage the harmony of the ecos...ystem, create health hazards, and hurt the birds. Throughout 2021, SAMLARC will be conducting long-term activities to safely reduce overpopulation. This strategy includes using resources to discourage the geese from inhabiting the Lake, Beach Club, and SAMLARC Parks without causing harm to the birds. The success of this strategy relies on collaboration with SAMLARC Members and their guests. Please do your part by keeping wildlife wild - do not feed the creatures around the Lake or encourage behaviors that increase their reliance on humans.
