Our 2nd Car Wash Fundraiser is coming in November! Please have Family and Friends drive through for our service with a smile car wash at the El Cajon Elks Lodge on Saturday, November 17th from 9 am - 2 pm. Lets beat our goal from last time!!

ENDURANCE RIDERS, ARE YOU READY??!! The horses and riders are looking great. Final preparation day today- pack the trailer, last minute prep for your horse, help get others ready, and get some rest! Please make sure you have figured out sleeping arrangements and have a tent. We will not be sleeping in the horse trailers :)

Is everyone ready for the Talent Show, Potluck, and Awards Ceremony on Saturday?!! Everyone is welcome, bring a dish to share, relax by the pool, and enjoy the talent straight from the ranch!!

Here is some updated information that I was given about the Descanso Endurance Ride. Please note that vet checks begin at 2 pm. Directions to Base Camp: From San Diego via I-5 or I-15, go east on I-8 approximately 35 miles. Go past Alpine, and the Viejas Casino. Exit at Highway 79/Descanso (exit 40). Turn left and go north under the freeway. A mile down the road (at the café), turn left onto Riverside Drive. The store and gas station will be about 1/2 mile down the roa...d on the left and the basecamp will be mile past that on the right. Descanso Endurance Ride Event Schedule: Thursday: Basecamp Opens Friday: 11:00 a.m. Ride packets available 2:00 p.m. Vetting starts 5:00-6:30 p.m. Chicken dinner 6:00 p.m. Ride meeting Saturday 6:00 a.m. 50 mile ride starts 7:30 a.m. 25 mile ride starts 7:30 a.m. Fun ride starts 8:00 a.m. Ride & tie starts 4:30 p.m. Award banquet starts being served 5:30 p.m. Fun ride and 25 mile ride awards 6:00 p.m. 50 mile ride awards Here is the Volunteer Sign-Up Form - http://tiny.cc/descansovolunteerform
