Baraka was among the first to be born on Ol Pejeta, on 20th November 1994. He lost sight in both eyes due to a fight and followed by a cataract. Baraka now lives in what used to be Morani’s 100-acre enclosure, for his own safety, and carries the flag for his predecessor.
