Posing as a Facebook message, this week’s spam is actually a link to a compromised domain. Once a user follows the link, a zero day vulnerability attacks a user...’s browser plugin. Because this exploit is new, it remains unpatched and visiting exploited websites with a java-enabled browser will cause infection and lead to keylogging and other malicious software installations. Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall customers are protected from this email and those like it.
