Central Plumas Recreation and Park District is sad to announce the cancelation/postponement of Youth Basketball. Due to the public health metrics on Covid-19 numbers and the anticipation of Plumas County moving into the purple tier, indoor youth sports have been restricted by Public Health. We will be refunding participants’ registration fees but hoping for less restrictions after the new year so we may be able to offer youth basketball. Covid-19 numbers and the county’s tier position will dictate whether or not we will be able to start indoor youth sports again. We are eager to get kids back to school and back to indoor sports just as soon as guidance allows.
