Years ago when I was feeling overwhelmed, I got a coffee can and taped a sheet of paper on the outside. I wrote in big bold letters, "GOD CAN". Then everytime something would come up that started to seem in the least overwhelming to me, I would simply put it in the "GOD CAN" and let it go. Periodically, I would look back through the can. Everything I had placed in that can had worked out for the good. Sometimes I would even wonder why I had even worried about it in the first place. I was reminded that I can't, but "GOD CAN."

Jesus tells Paul that HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT. His grace is sufficient for all of us. He loves us unconditionally and in our weakness, He shines through! But He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of My weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 I am so thankful Jesus accepted me just as I am. Make my heart like His so that I may accept others as they are!!!

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 Too often we rely on ourselves to make good decisions. Many times it works, but we're never as sure about the choices we make when we don't rely on God to help guide us. The Bible reminds us that we need to trust in the Lord to point us in the right direction. ... It's always easy for us to say that God will lead us on the right path, but it's not as easy for us to trust in that saying or follow it. But when we fully surrender to God's wisdom, just watch what happens!

Logically I should not be here anymore because of all the poor, bad, rebellious choices I made in my life. But the God we serve says He will do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. So when we turn our lives over to Him the sky is the limit as far as changing our lives for the better. Put your imagination to work today of what great things God can do in your life today! "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)
