We are all architects now.

To our prospective students: In light of the COVID-19 crisis and the best practices of social distancing, it has become clear to us - and hopefully to you, as well - that we would be putting you and your fellow embARC cohort at risk if we required you to travel to Berkeley and gather in a classroom for an in-person course. Rather than cancel the course entirely, the faculty and I have decided to rise to this challenge and craft an innovative and expansive curricular response ...to this unprecedented situation. We are planning to offer a remote course that upholds embARC's goal of preparing students to shape the future of environmental design. Regardless of the status of your application, please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions you might have about how the transition to remote learning might affect you and your goals for the summer.
