Exigimos que los lideres de California ACTUEN AHORA! Este sabado 24 de octubre a las 9 a.m., habra una conferencia de prensa frente al Centro de Gobierno del Condado de Ventura. Los oradores invitados incluiran a Jack Hinojosa, Director Ejecutivo de CDR. El evento esta abierto al publico. Por favor siga las pautas de salud y seguridad si planea asistir. Actualmente, los proveedores de cuidado infantil familiar enfrentan cargas financieras inesperadas debido a COVID-19,... el estado debe intervenir para estabilizar nuestro sistema reembolsando a los proveedores y devolviendo el favor a quienes cuidan de nuestros ninos. De lo contrario, corremos el riesgo de retrasar aun mas la recuperacion economica de California, ya que muchos trabajadores de primera linea continuan dependiendo de la calidad del servicio de los proveedores de cuidado infantil familiar. Mas de 5,000 proveedores de cuidado infantil familiar en todo el estado se han visto obligados a cerrar sus puertas en 2020. We are demanding that California’s leaders ACT NOW! On Saturday, October 24, at 9 a.m., there will be a press conference held in front of the Ventura County Government Center. Joining the lineup of special guest speakers will be Jack Hinojosa, CDR’s CEO. The event is open to the public. Please practice health and safety guidelines if you plan to attend. With family child care providers facing unexpected financial burdens due to COVID-19, the state must intervene to stabilize... our system by reimbursing providers and returning the favor to those who care for children. If not, we risk further delaying California’s economic recovery, as so many frontline workers continue to depend on the quality service of family child care providers. More than 5,000 family child care providers throughout the state have been forced to shut their doors in 2020. That means more than 50,000 children are left without quality child care.
