Today we honor the women who paved the way. August 18, 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, which prohibited the denial of citizens the right to vote based on sex. Every vote mattersdon’t waste yours this November! #equalityforall #vote2020 #womenempowerment #womenownedlawfirm
Today, Juneteenth, marks the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and brought news that slavery had been abolished more than two years earlier. This year marks the 155th anniversary of Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day. To honor the loss of life and historic pain caused by racial inequity and to celebrate racial diversity, Collinson, Daehnke, Inlow & Greco will be closing our offices early. As we reflect on the past weeks, the importance of what ...it means to be together has become clear. All around us, we are faced with challenges and circumstances that demand we think beyond our usual boundaries. We believe that as a society, there is much more we need to do. Change starts with listening, thinking and building a better understanding of how together we can make a positive impact in the world. Today, more than ever, we believe this a time to reflect and share ideas on how we can increase a sense of belonging as we also build awareness of and take action against racism. At Collinson, Daehnke, Inlow & Greco, we believe this is a time to come together, in partnership with all of our clients, colleagues and friends, to make a difference and create a brighter future!
Stay safe and healthy, and please know we are here for you!
Patricia Daehnke will be one of the featured Master Trial Lawyers at this upcoming LACBA event.
Congratulations to Patricia Daehnke and Linda Rurangirwa for a 12-0 defense verdict after a three and 1/2 week medical malpractice/wrongful death trial in Indio branch of Riverside County Superior Court. The case involved a 42 year old female who suffered multisystem organ failure and death post-ERCP and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The plaintiff children and GAL alleged a failure to timely diagnose and treat a perforation that occurred during ERCP. We defended on standard of care and causation. Our surgeon client is very happy for the Holidays!

Congratulations to Patricia Daehnke on another defense victory in a medical malpractice case she tried with attorney Sam Leib. The jury found in favor of our OB/Gyn client 7 to 1. Our client is thrilled!
Partner, Stacy Douglas, recently chaired DRI’s diversity seminar in New Orleans.
