Fire Chief Kenneth Herbert was open to support our Listoscalifornia campaign which allowed us to be situated in front of the El Centro Fire Department during a live remote. This collaboration is helping our community to be aware and prepare in case a disaster or emergency occur. The event had a good turn out, we had cars pulling up to obtain a bag with resource materials such as a disaster guide, bandanas a disaster preparedness activity book for children and gave the team t...o engage with our community. Earlier this week, United Farm Workers strategically coordinated the event to talk to farm workers at the end of their working day as they got off the busses and before they walked across the border to go home.
