It is with heavy hearts that the Beavers are announcing that Coach Angie is leaving the den. Please come and wish her farewell tomorrow, July 4, between 10 and noon at the Beavers Fireworks Booth located in the Safeway parking lot at Fair Oaks and Manzanita. The Beavers have been blessed to have Coach Angie leading our team since 2017. We have appreciated the encouragement she has shown to our swimmers and the technique that she focused on to help our swimmers improve. How...ever, Angie is now engaged to be married and is moving with her new family to Arkansas. We are so sad that we missed out on having Coach Angie lead us in this 2020 season, but we still want to show our appreciation for all the work she has done for our team and love that she has shown to our kids. Please feel free to either drive by with signs and waves or stop briefly to say goodbye, whichever you are more comfortable with. Due to the current state of COVID-19, we do ask that people do not linger too long, as we do not want to have a large crowd. Coach Angie will be at the Beavers Fireworks Booth on July 4 between 10-Noon. Safeway parking lot at Fair Oaks and Manzanita. We hope to see you there!

Hi team! Hopefully you all received the email notifying you that the swim season has been cancelled :( , but we are still having our firework booth this year. :) This is a huge fundraiser for our team, and even without the 4th of July parade, we still hope to have lots of sales. They swam on the Beavers for years! She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having her first surgery on Thursday.

Hi team! We miss you all and miss being together at the pool! Here is an email that was sent out last night.... Please note that the beginning of the summer season has been postponed indefinitely at this point in time due to COVID-19. The government has ordered shelter in place until at least April 30, so nothing will happen prior to May. San Juan Unified School District (SJUSD) has closed their schools through the end of the school year. SJUSD has also informed us that Del Campo's pool will be unavailable to us once school is out due to construction on campus. The board is still hoping to be able to have some type of shortened season at another pool and is currently exploring options. Please be patient with us during this period of time where no one knows what to expect.

Time Trials has been rescheduled due to the impending storm. We will NOT be swimming on Saturday, May 18th. Instead we will hold Time Trials on Saturday, June 1st. ... For those of you needing team suits, please look for Brenda (Coach Emma's mom) on the pool deck tonight. She will have the fit kit with her, so swimmers can try on suits. Please make sure to have underwear the kids can wear under the suits. Swimsuits can be purchased on Amazon, swim outlet, or a site called swim2000. The name of the suit is michael phelps mesa in blue.

Each of the 4 weeks in March will highlight a different stroke. You may register for each week individually so that you can choose the strokes you want to work on....
