Hello Friends, Here are some of the photos from last Sunday's CBC Family and Friend Day Service. It was truly an anointed and amazing time with the people of God and our heavenly Father. Hearts were healed, purpose was established, people were greatly encouraged and inspired, and most of all our God, the Everlasting Father, was greatly glorified! It was a beautiful time in the Lord! If you are looking for an intimate setting where you can worship God and grow in truth and ri...ghteousness, we are your church! The apostle Paul prayed as the love of the church at Colosse was revealed to him by the Spirit, "For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding." This is earnestly my prayer for you, my friends! We meet here at the Stone House at 10:30 on Sundays. God bless you! See more

Hello Friends, I began sharing a few days ago about the concept of "Childlike Faith." I cited Matthew 19:14 as a point of reference which says, "Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." God our Father deeply desires that we have the posture of heart toward Him as a young child would, uninhibited and trusting of Him in our every response! To elaborate a bit, corresponding verses to Matthew 19:...14 are Mark 10:15-16 which goes further to say, "I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will not enter it. And He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them and blessed them" I watched a program recently which had a young girl literally interpret getting closer to God as climbing a high mountain to be near Him. Although our heavenly Father is not requiring that we exert physical energy as in mountain climbing, lifting weights, or running a marathon to be close to Him, to commune or relate to Him, He does expect us to humble ourselves wherever we are physically and worship Him (engaging with Him by faith, speaking to Him, expressing our affections and petitions). Hebrews 11:6 says, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." It requires the innocent quality of a dear child, by all of us, to come to God to enter the kingdom. We must be truly willing to surrender all that we are and possess to Him. He in loving response, takes us spiritually into His arms, puts His hands on us and blesses us.

Hello FB friends! I am really excited about this new year and the launching of many endeavors that our Lord desires for us His children to accomplish! The Lord wants His glory made known to the nations and we are the blessed ones created to live out that truth... that He is Lord and God, Maker and Creator of the universe! As you look at this page, you will see that it is one of the new launches that I was previously speaking of! I look forward to engaging with you on a regul...ar basis on many different levels; ministry, life, education, information... God bless you one and all! The truth is so very exciting and the word of God tells us that the truth also frees us. In John 8:32 Jesus is speaking to the Jews who believed in Him saying, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Additionally, Genesis 1:26-28 basically tells us that by God's ingenious inspiration we were created in His image and likeness. He also blessed man and told him to be fruitful, increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it! So you see, we as God's children, His inspiration, His great design, are here with great purpose! I look forward to assisting many of you to unlock that truthful purpose for which you live! For who the Son (the Lord) has set free, is free indeed! John 8:36.

Here are a few pictures from one of our recent Clergy Council meetings. The Clergy Council is a partnership between the LAPD Pacific Division and several local church ministries. One of our primary emphasis is doing outreach/ministry work with the homeless.
