Easter baskets now on sale from Team Dignity Health to benefit the Kern County Cancer Fund's Campout Against Cancer. Go to the Kern County Cancer Fund page to see all of the baskets and purchase via Venmo or Credit Card. These are beautiful baskets and the pictures do not do them justice.

Easter baskets going on sale this Friday 3/27/20 at 10am to benefit the Kern County Cancer Fund. First come, first serve. Watch for the post Friday morning.

The CBCC Foundation office will be on a reduced office schedule 8:30am-3pm Monday through Friday until further notice. All classes/groups have also been cancelled. If you can conduct business over the phone instead of in person please call us at 661-616-1661. This applies to the Foundation/KCCF only and not to the Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center. Having a blast at our annual Pediatric Christmas Party at THEBlvd! What a joy to serve these beautiful families. Thank you Kern Family Health and The Plank Foundation for sponsoring the event. Special thanks to Leslie Knox and all who provided gifts for our children undergoing cancer treatment.

The Dignity Health nurses at CBCC just delivered toys and over $400 to donate to this weekends Christmas party for children with cancer who we transport from Kern County to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera as well as UCLA and CHLA. Thank you for coming through for our little patients! You always go above and beyond.

Toys needed! Our Christmas Party for children with cancer is next Saturday and we are short on toy donations. The families look forward to the event and the highlight has always been Santa calling them up to give them their gift. Attached is a list of requested items by the children in our transportation program. If you are able to donate something, especially for the teens or older children that would be appreciated. Gifts are needed by noon, Thursday, December 12th so that volunteers can wrap them in time for the party. Please deliver to CBCC 6501 Truxtun Ave. Bakersfield. There are totes in the lobby. If it is a large donation we can pick it up or help get them out if your car. On behalf of the children and families that we serve, thank you! To arrange pickup call 661-616-1661.
