The Ratepayer Advocate Dr Fred Pickel contract is up. He has been month to month for quite awhile now. The select committee to either reinstate his contract or select a new advocate is dragging it’s feet on a new selection. Why? I find it disappointing that Dr Pickel is not a person who truly speaks to the frustrations of DWP ratepayers. He assumes his engineering reports on the OPA website is sufficient. He has not done a good communication job standing up for the ratepayers. He claims not to cause waves with city hall and DWP so he can get the latest contract plans from them.
