"When i was taking Human Anatomy in dental school, we were complaining to our professor why we had to study the whole body & not just head & neck anatomy since we are going to work on teeth. Our professor gave us this long look & I thought he was going to give us a surprise quiz to punish us. Finally he said with a sigh "Your patients will come in to see you bringing their whole body, not just their head & neck or that would freak you out! Certain illnesses manifest symptoms in the mouth & diseases in the mouth can affect the heart etc so stop complaining & get busy!" WOW...he changed my whole view of dentistry! People touch our lives in so many different ways and I want to be able to do that for my patients!"

See the research The Mouth-COVID Connection: https://issuu.com//docs/cdapubs_journal_2020_oc/s/11067174 To schedule your next visit with our practice, please give us a call at 909-396-5111. As always, if you’re not feeling well, and have an upcoming appointment, please give us a call to reschedule. While you’re at home resting, here are some helpful oral health tips from the @AmericanDentalAssociation: Throw away your brush once you are feeling better: Replacing your brush head ensures you get rid of lingering bacteria. Stay hydrated to avoid dry mouth: Drink plenty of water, as dry mouth can also put you at greater risk for cavities. Choose sugar-free cough drops: Many cough drops contain sugar, making them equivalent to sucking on candy. Choose the right fluids: Water is always the best choice. To replenish electrolytes, drink sports drinks in moderation due to sugar content.
