You need to bring chains with you to any mountain community you decide to visit. CHP and our #Caltrans8 crews are checking for chains. Certain areas, you will be required to put them on, no matter your vehicle. Keep yourself, and others safe, by having your chains.

All roads R2 restrictions now and all roads leading up to Big Bear are R2 restrictions with delays. Please drive cautiously.
