Big News! This beach session is on my story! Amber & Mike were SO fun to work with. Their wedding plans changed (like a lot of other couples) but they have been nothing but upbeat & positive. We celebrated with this romantic beach session. Swipe to see my favorites @ Coronado, California

This shoot was such a dream! I’ll never tire of shooting in the desert If you had to choose ONE location to shoot for the rest of your life, where would it be?! @ Anza-Boreggo National Park
I’m really into happy quotes & pretty graphics lately
Looking forward to all my beautiful weddings & elopements for the remainder of the year! My couples are champs for dealing with all the changes and staying positive! Don’t forget!! I’m offering mini sessions June & July and spots are filling up! DM me to book
Free Instagram highlight covers! My new batch of highlight covers is up on my website ready for download! Instructions are on my story! Enjoy!
Breathe. It’s going to be ok.
Photography TIP When shooting a couple or any group of people always keep your aperture higher than 2.5 (unless you’re doing something creative where part of the image is blurry and the other part is in focus). If you want both subjects in focus and still want a nice soft background, I would recommend an aperture of 3.0... Camera settings for this picture Lens: 35 mm ISO: 400 (this was after the sun went down behind the mountain) Aperture: 3.0 See more
Guess what?! I’m opening up mini sessions for June & July! I’m so happy to see small businesses opening up again! Let’s support each other and take advantage of this time! If you want a playful session with your love, or an artistic portrait session, or something intimate & indoors...I’d absolutely LOVE to work with you! ... DM to book @ San Diego, California See more
Been out in nature this week and it’s making me SO grateful I know there’s a lot of craziness going on right now... but let’s all stop and refocus on what really matters... Our family, our friends, our lives, our freedom, our health...etc... these are the things that matter to me. It’s a weird time for all of us....especially when the things that are most important to you are put into question or taken away. So keep what matters close to you, and stay positive. It’s ok to be confused. It’s ok to have differing opinions. Spread joy, not hate. Be kind, not judgmental. Have Peace inside you and all around you for others to feel.
The 35 mm is my new favorite lens... You guys have heard me talk and compare the 59 mm and the 35 mm and I’ve had my 35 mm for a few months now, so I can proudly say I love it just as much as my 50! (Which is crazy because I looovvveew the 50) I’m working on a video comparing the 2, but for now, if you have any questions about the 35, drop them below ... What do you wanna know about the 35mm? A message for my beautiful brides... A lot of you are changing your wedding plans because of covid19 and I want you to know I SUPPORT you 100 percent! If you want to elope, instead of have a big wedding, I’m excited & happy for you! If you want to wait out the virus and keep the big wedding & party, I understand and will wait with you:) ... My heart goes out to you during this weird time of uncertainty, but your wedding WILL happen and it WILL be amazing What is you BIGGEST wedding struggle right now?! See more
Light lesson! This photo was taken in pure sun The crazy thing is, I used to be terrified of shooting in pure sun. I made sure to always keep the sun behind my subjects because that was the most beautiful light. When I started shooting with the sun on my face (on my subjects face), it opened a whole new world of possibilities and artistic freedom. ... Don’t let anyone discourage you from shooting in certain lighting situations. Go out and explore and see for yourself. You might love early morning light, afternoon light, or golden hour. Find your light and go for it! Never be afraid to switch it up :) What is your favorite light to shoot in and why? @ Mesa, Arizona See more
