In my 38 years here, many celebrities have come in, many of them multiple times. I’ve never asked to take a picture with any of them, never asked for their autograph, never treated them different than our regular customers, and never embarrassed myself in front of any of them. I’m talking, Marlon Brando, Angelina Jolie, Rod Stewart, Paul Stanley, Jan Brady, Billy Dee Williams, the tall robber from Home Alone, Cheech Marin, and on and on. Except one, Clark Middleton. When he... came in, I got all flustered, but had to have a picture with him, so I barged up and asked him if he would be so kind, and of course he graciously agreed. But while I was getting my phone ready, I turned to him and said, without thinking, Do you know how AWESOME you are?!?! I was embarrassed ever after for saying that, but now he’s gone, I’m glad I had the chance to say that to him... RIP Jellybean! See more
