Looking back at 2020 and this is my Top Nine on Instagram. If you follow me over there, I guess lots of you really loved all my fall cookies. It’s crazy how Instagram works with the algorithm and who sees what and how many likes you get. I can work very hard on all my cookies and get a few likes on one and then another cookie gets 5.3k likes. Guess the pink pumpkins and white ghosts are the WIN for the year! This literally blew me away when they got this many likes. THANK YOU to each and every one of you that follow my cookie journey, buy from my small cookie business and purchase from my small Etsy shop. You truly are amazing! I am blessed by so many wonderful people in my life. Let’s see what 2021 brings! Have a Happy New Year Everyone!!

Guess what’s only seven weeks from today?! I know it seems crazy to be posting this, but for my cookier friends, they get it. We have to prepare now. This is one of my sets from last year. I can’t wait to show you all some of my new designs this coming Valentine’s. Although I haven’t decided for this holiday if I’m doing preorders or a pop up. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! My last couple of days was truly wonderful relaxing and enjoying my family. Who’s enjoying their little bag of Gingies they got in their stockings or as a gift? I had one this morning and these little guys are oh so soft and yummy.

Happy Christmas Eve! What are you baking up today? I’m making a new easy recipe by @ourfauxfarmhouse and it includes a box of @bettycrocker Super Moist Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix. This recipe is called Mississippi Mud Peppermint Dessert and it’s pretty good. I’ll be adding this to my list of family holiday favorites. I did change my recipe a bit from the original. Recipe is as follows: 1 box of mix (mix according to directions) Bake, then cool.... Frosting: 1/3 cup of butter room temp 3 cups powdered sugar 4-5 TBSP milk 1/4 tsp peppermint extract 1 drop of red food color Over Frosting: Crushed candy cane sprinkled over top 3 TBSP choc chips melted then drizzled over top Eat & Enjoy!!

That’s a wrap!Cookies have all been picked up and now it’s time for some much needed rest and relaxation after five very long nights of baking, decorating and packaging.
