Our seasonal farmers markets are closed but you can still do your shopping at our Friday Monterey Farmers Market at the Del Monte Shopping Center! Starting Friday, October 2, the new hours for the Monterey Farmers Market at Del Monte Shopping Center will be 9 am until 1 pm. Since the Del Monte Shopping Center is graciously accommodating our farmers market during the pandemic, our market hours over the next few months will be changing to allow enough parking during the upcom...ing holiday shopping season. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26 UPDATE More good news the Carmel Farmers Market at The Barnyard Shopping Village WILL BE OPEN this coming Tuesday, September 1, 9am - 1pm. As of today, we anticipate all of our markets to be operating.

Hi everyone due to the Carmel fires, the Carmel Farmers Market at The Barnyard Shopping Village will be CLOSED on Tuesday. We are uncertain if the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College will be open this coming Saturday (8am - 12pm). We will update you as soon as we know more. It is currently being used as a temporary shelter for fire evacuees. Our two farmers markets in the Monterey area at Del Monte Shopping Center on Fridays, 9am - 2pm and on Sundays, 8am - 12pm WILL... BE OPEN. Those markets are located behind Macy's in the back parking lot. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will do our best to keep you updated this coming week if anything changes. As most of you know, we have another state emergency in our area fires. As of today, Thursday, August 20, our farmers markets in Monterey WILL remain open tomorrow and Sunday at the Del Monte Shopping Center. Friday's farmers market is open from 9am until 2pm. The Sunday farmers market is open from 8am until 12pm. We are uncertain whether the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College will be open this Saturday and awaiting further information. The parking lots are being used... by evacuees. As soon as we know more, we will let you know. As far as we know now, the Carmel Farmers Market at The Barnyard Shopping Village on Tuesday will be open as usual on Tuesday, but again we will verify this information over the weekend. Stay tuned.

QUICK REMINDER! Don't forget that starting tomorrow May 29, the Friday Monterey Farmers Market will be located in back of Macy's at the Del Monte Shopping Center. Market hours are 9am until 2pm. PLEASE HELP US STAY OPEN... Thank you for supporting our farmers and vendors. Here are some guidelines to ensure a safe trip to the market for everyone! We'd also like to take this time and ask each of you to review the health guidelines. You are required to wear a mask while shopping at the farmers markets. NO PETS are allowed at our farmers markets with the exception of service dogs. Please do your shopping and go we will be monitoring for crowds for everyone’s safety. Maintain social distancing of 6 feet as much as possible please do not ‘hang out’ at the market. Hand sanitizer and hand washing stations are set up around the market. The bathrooms are stocked with soap, water, and paper towels. Vendors and farmers will be wearing gloves. If you or any family member is ill, we ask for the safety of others that you remain home. Each vendor handles produce purchasing policies differently. Most will pick out produce/product for you, while others, will allow you to touch only what you are going to buy. Most booths have one helper handling the product, while another takes the money. At the Information Booth where you can buy farmers market bucks with your credit card, gloves are worn and the pen is sanitized after every use. Wash your produce when you get home.

NEWS UPDATE FOR OUR MONTEREY FARMERS MARKET! We've just learned that our current farmers market location at Del Monte Shopping Center (in front of Starbucks) is being moved around to the back of Macy's (the same location as the Sunday farmers market) starting this week, May 29. The Monterey Farmers Market is open on Fridays, 9am until 2pm the only change is the new location. See you then!
