New Homeowner Payment option With 4.1 Million Homeowners across the country in mortgage forbearance, it has been announced that loan servicers will begin to offer a mortgage deferral option. The new deferral option will allow homeowners to have missed payments due at the time of sale, refinance or at the end of the loan term.... As opposed to mortgage forbearance, any and all missed payments will be due in a lump sum at the end of the forbearance period. Please contact your loan servicer for more loan information.
