Hey everyone, I hope everybody had a great weekend as well as a fun Monday. The last few days became super busy for me all of a sudden so I was not able to start posting some of the information that I wanted to share with you all. I think what I’d like to do is just start with a brief overview of practices, supplements, foods and so on.. that I do for myself as well as share with my clients. Since my 20s I’ve always been super interested in health and spirituality. I am not ...a super strict and disciplined person, but I have always incorporated some form of wellness into my life rituals. The first thing I would like to share with you is in old-fashioned remedy. It’s nothing new and I’m sure many of you already practiced this yourself. And that’s mineral salt baths! Back when I had my own apartment I had a beautiful cast-iron clawfoot bathtub every night for years and years I have taken an Epson salt bath. I will probably say this was the first thing I did to my skin intuitively that I didn’t know would make the biggest difference keeping it youthful. Now It can be drying to some, so definitely want to tune in to see what frequency you would like to enjoy this type of bath. Then in my 30s I was working at Neiman Marcus and I took a skin care class from one of the vendors. That day I remember receiving some interesting education that pertained to how minerals are good for your skin. The Educator talked about how when your skin is young calcium resides at the surface of your skin and then as you age it sinks deeper into the skin and that the only thing that will pull on the calcium was the magnesium! Ding ding ding ding ding! The lightbulb went on when she said that! I was already taking epson salt baths but I have not been soaking my face. Now again this may be a bit much for some people so pace yourself as you experiment with this if this and see if this is something that resonates for you. It certainly does and has for me. So I’ll say with this particular ritual at the very least you will re-mineralize your body transdermally and it has the side effect really relaxing your body and mind.
