On Thursday, we celebrated the accomplishments of our 2020 CAPS cohort with a virtual graduation. Despite the fact that this year’s program was fully online, these students were able to complete rigorous trainings and present their capstone project at the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Virtual Convention. A massive thank you to our keynote speaker Tim Rios and the entire team at Wells Fargo for their continued support, without them this program would not be possible.... After 6 months, the 2020 CAPS Cohort are finally alumni! These students worked tirelessly in order to put together an informative panel on economic resilience for the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Statewide Virtual Convention. CAPS went through rigorous trainings including sessions from Wonsulting and Dale Carnegie of Southern Los Angeles presented by Chris Alvarado, as well as presentations from professionals including Naomi K. Rodriguez, Robert Abelon, Mona Pasquil Rogers, Mary Rosas, and Ryan Zervakos. We want to give a big thank you to everyone that makes this program possible, especially Tim Rios, Gabriela Mello, Patty Juarez, and everyone at Wells Fargo.
